Circle H Ranch is focused on premium Wagyu breeding stock.  Our emphasis is on SCD-AA and defect-free wagyu cattle.  The heavy marbling of Wagyu meat is what drives such high demand.  This high marbling comes at a cost though, these animals are slower to grow which adds to cost of operation.  Usually, Wagyu cattle are not harvested until they reach 28 months of age and the heifers aren't bred until they reach two years of age.  Wagyu cattle are easy to handle, good docility and have low birth weight.   The low birth weight is the most sought-after trait improving calving ease.
